Travel is a mess today. They're on their own. To get to MIA I'm flying CLT/PIT, overnight in PIT and then onto MIA tomorrow afternoon. And that's with help from the AC. They need to look for their own hotel and call AA to at least schedule a call back. No one is going to have the time to go out of their way to help them.
That's what it sounds like. I called them again and they just sound so defeated. I never clarified why they were delayed leaving IND but I'll ask next time I call. They're still in line waiting but I think they're going to just say screw it and head back home.
