Congrats on the new status.

So, you got 25 credits (20 base + 5 select) for 25K early recognition.

When you make 35K, you can get up to 30 addition credits (20 base + 10 select benefit) for 35K early recognition.

If you should make 50K, you can get up to 30 additional credits (20 base + 10 select benefit) for 50K early recognition. (If it weren't early recognition, this would be 20 + 20, but AC somewhat limits the eUp select benefit for 50K, 75K, and SE during early recognition.)

All the credits mentioned up to now will turn into pumpkins in mid-January 2023, unless you've got a premium Aeroplan credit card, in which case up to 50 can be rolled over for 2023.

In January 2023, as a 35K you'll get the opportunity for up to 30 credits for 2023 (20 base + 10 as a select benefit) for use in 2023.

If you make 50K during 2022, you can get up to 40 credits for 2023 (20 base + 20 select benefit) for use in 2023.

What could be simpler and less convoluted than that?

But seriously, I hope it helps.
Per the official policy, for early recognition, you are not supposed to get the 20 base eUps.
Additionally, for early recognition, the select benefit is supposed to 5 for 35K and 10 for 50K, not the full 10 and 20.

So I would not expect it to continue behaving this way. It doesn't match what they want or what they say.

The goal is to not put you at an advantage over someone who started at the higher level.

25K gets you 20+5. 35K gets you 5. 50K gets you 10. That gives you 20+20, which is the same as someone who started the year at 50K.
