But that's exactly my point. With fingerprints, you don't have to worry about any of that...
There's some window that requires manual intervention. I think it's around 4 hours. This happened to Mrs. Majuki the first time too where she was wearing a mask. I remember it not being a clear indication on the kiosk saying that the traveler must remove anything prior to the photo.
