Hi all. I am booked SFO-FRA-BER in J. I booked using Chase travel portal to redeem points. SFO-FRA is on United metal and so is FRA-SFO. I cannot select seats. I've tried Chase travel portal, United and Lufthansa websites. They all say unable to select at this time. I called chase and they said they are unable to do so and that i should call the airline.

Any advice? I am on a (long) hold with UA right now, but wanted to know if anyone else has run into this?


edited to add: Is this all just because it is not ticketed yet because of booking with travel agency??
