That is the answer I was hoping for as well about the ticket being compatible in the UA app. Theoretically I should be able to be waitlisted for business in that scenario, even though it seems there have been some wildly inconsistent experiences with that recently. UA has not changed the verbiage on their website, so it looks like fair game to me.
