Calling is the only way to get immediate credit, otherwise the original E+ fee will be refunded AFTER the flight occurs.
You can purchase online now and wait or eventually call for a refund.

Note you will be getting E+ service, not PremPlus service.

If you had actually purchased a PremPlus ticket, there would have been no seat change fee.
