My issue is this: 10 days ago, i booked a flying blue award ticket (AF ticket stock and AF metal) for my mother (USC, no OCI card), one way DEL-CDG-USA. The ticket is for next week (i.e. before March 1). AF will not sell you a cash ticket on that route, instead sending you to Delta to buy the codeshare (though flying blue is fine with selling it, and continues to do so). The way that i read the rules, a Delta codeshare is fine but AF or KL ticket stock is a no-no.

Any recent data points on whether this is being enforced? Keyser , how did your brother's experience work out? GMOChicken, were you able to come back to the US via your same routing through AMS?

I'm trying to look for backup options, but with all the capacity cuts, award tickets are few and far between...

Thanks!
1. Bubble's not being enforced so if AF let's you check-in, all good
2. Foreign citizens have no restriction AFAIK
