Wife and I worked our way through much of the menu a few days ago. My bottom line is the lounge is a 10 overall, service is 10, and the dinner menu is a 5. The food is in no way remarkable. Food in QR J on the plane is some, to much, better. The filet is better in AM. A shame and I was disappointed (again).
I agree with all of this. One specific thing bugs me about Al Safwa though- the ambiance in the dining area. It's harsh, bright kitchen lighting. Gentle, soothing lamplight would very much improve the overall feel of the place.
