You don't qualify for ORC. You still have the funds for the ticket available for new flight/refund.

ORC is for when the airline rebook you on other flights. If you had DL rebook you onto AA (or most likely UA) then you would qualify. There would be no unused eticket in this case, DL would've simply provided the funds to AA/UA.
