Interesting that there does seem to be some considerable success with at least 1 category upgrades for Hyatt Elites at SLH.
That gives me hope that our future stay at SLH in Vienna (Hotel Altstadt) should yield an upgrade as well. Though this stay would be booked under SLH and I have Indulged status (their highest) which I hope would best my measly Hyatt Discoverist status, plus direct booking with SLH was a fair bit cheaper again (~60€ per night). YMMV.
