I've read though all the comments and feedback since the properties opened and there's some great info here, thanks to all. I have Titanium status and planning a family trip (3 adults, 10y, 4y) for this summer, leaning towards the Westin because of proximity to kids activities, but open to either property especially if you can dine across both. We'll need a family suite to sleep 5 and definitely hoping for the Infinity suite with the private pool. It's a bit disappointing that all the rates appear to include breakfast which would have been included with Titanium status.

a few questions to those who’ve stayed here before:

-do the family suites have one bathroom or two? really hard to tell from the room photos
-does anyone have a specific contact at either property beyond the generic concierge contact provided by Marriott?
-I'm assuming the properties are owned and managed separately, so this is unlikely, but has anyone been upgraded from one property to the other? also has anyone paid cash for an upgrade when perhaps they weren't offered an upgrade through status. This seems to be more common in European properties
-would it be fair to say the garden view vs ocean view is less important for the infinity suites, since they're all on ground level anyway?
