Our last stay was in November after skipping for several years because of underwhelming service. I concur with the above post about zero recognition for elites, lackluster service, and no real care about guests. When we asked about elite status benefits, she said it wasn’t the system. (I’m lifetime platinum/titanium.) After doing research, she acknowledged it and gave us zero information about benefits. The valets are the best employees at that hotel. Craig in the spa is a magician masseuse.
We even got married there, and every time we go, it’s like they’ve never seen us before. You’d think that would be in the guest notes.
I wouldn’t spend the money. I prefer the Four Seasons now… but it doesn’t have the nostalgia factor attached.
