We do have a lot of phrases we use to describe the Scottish. Sweaties is one of them. You have probably heard of "Jocks" to refer to them, well sweaties uses the rhyming slang of "sweaty socks" to refer to the "jocks". So if you hear someone say "what are the sweaties whining about now?" you will know that it is referring to Jocks.
