I had a prepaid reservation for a minivan. Get here, they are out of minivans. They offer an “upgrade” to a small SUV which has no chance of fitting my party of 6 + lots of luggage (it’s a ski trip). Any recommendations or recourse for me here? Is it worth trying to call Avis Corporate or going to be rejected. I’m just a lowly Preferred Plus member.
That's pretty bad. I would send a message via Twitter DM - they seem to put their most competent reps there.
