One posibly important note though, the agent told me he could not upgrade my PY flex because the class of that segment was N and that it could only be upgraded 4 days before departure time. I told him that flex should be able to do it anytime but he said that the system did not allow him to. It seems the ticket acted as flex when it came to cancelation (no penalty, full refund) but as N when for the purpuse of upgrading. I was not happy because Y latitude was 400 dollars more than PY flex.
I just noticed that my paid premium flex was N class as well. On the e-upgrade chart it says paid fares in O class "classify" as flexible (for e-upgrade purposes anyway)
