It appears that Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton manage to capture more than 50% of the top properties.
Every once in a while we are asked to recommend the best Hilton on the East or West Coast for a weekend getaway. I then try to jump in and answer and find that I can't come up with much. Other people seem to have the same problem. Most of the top Hilton properties are overseas. When it comes to 5 Diamond properties, I don't think Hilton comes to mind. Most of our travel budgets don't allow for luxury hotel stays. But it is still fun to dream. I think the most I have paid for a hotel room is still under $250 night. I know my Dad has paid into the $500 to $700 range. Maybe I'll go there some time in the future.
