If both rooms are in Globalist's name, then only one is eligible for Globalist upgrade. I have booked 2 rooms in my name many times and changed one to colleague's name upon check in, the second room was never upgraded. GOH is the way to go for all benefits, upgrade and free breakfast.
apart from the upgrade on rooms 2 and 3, I always got all Globalist benefits, including waived parking on award stays for 2 cars.
