I’m in the camp where Globalists should have always received waived resort fees it’s the least MLife could do for their “partnership”.
If they’re going to allow Gold+ to waive resort fees it is de facto giving Explorists and Globalists waived fees as well. However, that’s not a guarantee that the stay also gains Hyatt EQN credit.
We don’t know what is going to happen in the future with these changes to the mlife program, hence all the recent speculation in these multiple threads. I am only commenting on what has been my experience in the last year or two which is quite different than yours. That being that I have always been able to have my mlife and WOH account numbers added and I have always received WOH night credit and mlife credit whenever my stay has had a nightly rate that has not been comped. I have always received mlife and WOH night credit even when my host has comped the resort fee and F&B. I have not received WOH night credit when I have had the room charge comped but have still earned WOH points for any charges not comped.
I am hoping that even with these changes that I will still be able to do something similar. I guess I will find out eventually maybe by trial and error.
