A bit of a follow-up on Why you should avoid sixth freedom flights ticketed by AC

So they ended up with BCN-FRA overnight FRA-YYZ and then split off to YYZ-CMH (in Y as it's single-cabin) and YYZ-EWR-SFO (YYZ-SFO was J0, both options arrived at the same time, and EWR-SFO was lie-flat).

YYZ-CMH and YYZ-EWR were scheduled to depart within 10 minutes.

But of course, YYZ-CMH was delayed. And delayed. And right when YYZ-EWR landed, YYZ-CMH was cancelled.

Of course, the next best option would have been YYZ-EWR-CMH, but that was no longer possible.

I had her go and get rebooked on an AC YYZ-ORD and UA ORD-CMH, and had her say "this is a business class ticket I want to be booked in business class". Nope. Not happening. Same thing with GA.

So I called the concierge. Her initial reaction was "she was originally booked in Latitude" (Latitude is a brand, not a fare class, but I digress...). "No, this is a Bacerlona to Columbus business class fare."

She put me on hold, talked to NRD, and got it all fixed.

Due to the fact that boarding was in process, they had to just regrade YYZ-ORD into J (so I suspect it posted as Y, not P), but they reticketed ORD-CMH into P.

Without the concierge, she would have flown YYZ-ORD in Y on a paid J ticket. Reservations would only have been able to fix ORD-CMH due to timing constraints.

Not that I think the concierge should have been necessary. Stop looking at the current fare class and just pay attention to the actual underlying fare...
