This is exactly what I was thinking, I'm looking for a trip in april to vegas and I almost don't want to book it right now because you're agreeing to pay the resort fees when you book. A lot of places will just "give you the pickle" marketing, but resort fees are Vegas' bread and butter. I don't think they're gonna willingly give you back 40%-120% of your room rate that you agreed to pay. In another sense, you're grandfathered into horrible terms.
