The 500-mile minimum for elites only apllies to EQMs, not RDMs or EQDs. So, I'm guessing that this concept will be going away on March 1st. For example, when I fly on AS in F between PDX and SEA, I earn 750 EQMs (500 X 150%). But the amount of RDMs and EQDs I earn is calculated upon the actual 128-mile distance of the flight.
