I really dislike those fancy Dreamliner windows. That eerie bluish light is bad enough, but central locking is my main peeve. I pick a window seat for a reason, and in daytime I want as much daylight as I can get. Give me an old-fashioned blind any day.

I get the i picked window, I control it thought. On shorter flights I think this is fine. However on 10+hr flights people are wanting to sleep.. They provide overheard lights. Allows you to see without blinding the whole cabin.
