some partners now appear to provide no bonus based on the AA partners page. the strength of aadvantage last year was that premium cabins got 2x EQMs. this was a strength over delta which at-most gave 1.5x MQM. EQM was the hardest for me. it's just a different program now, but it does now seem to incentivize purchasing on price (namely to be OK with spending a little more if the marginal cost isn't much) and flying a short non-stop instead of a fun/crazy/have-to-explain-to-others circuitous routing.
