Do those arrive in the morning or late at night? Hated arriving in HKG around 10 PM and then paying for a hotel room which sometimes meant getting into your room well after midnight.
The midnight EVA departures arrive Singapore early to mid afternoon. I don’t hate the daytime US departures I just don’t like waking up before dawn to take my positioning flight. And its so much easier on the body arriving SE Asia in the afternoon, having a light dinner at the hotel, a quick stroll to work out the muscles, and then bed. I’m with you 100% arriving Asia late at night sucks.
The more I talk about this the more i’m talking myself into booking the EVA flight not knowing if its going to operate as a VTL. Award space from IAH is usually grabbed quickly.
