So Etihad cancelled my return flight AUH-MAD on the 28th of March and they won't rebook me on a flight to Madrid via BCN, ZRH, AMS or BRU on the same day. This because the flights between AMS/ZRH/BCN/BRU and MAD are codeshare and not on their own metal. They only want to rebook us on a direct flight between AUH and MAD on another day in March, but I already made plans around this day so I want to fly on the 28th as I booked.

Is there any way to get in contact with someone at Etihad who can really help you instead of only getting told no at the call center? I also tried Twitter but they are useless too, just pointing me to their callcenter.
