No, I am not trying to read between the lines. To the contrary, we strictly follow CDC guidelines. Here, I am trying to determine precisely where AA draws the lines, as it appears AA differs from the CDC.

While I understand your attitude about this - as I am and have been extremely Covid-cautious - perhaps you should not always assume the worst of strangers. Rather, try to contribute positively to the discussion. As to the substance, please see the helpful posts below and my replies.

Finally, my other post to which you link is discussing whether a trip should be cancelled due to concerns about the possibility of testing positive while at destination and, therefore, having to stay an extra 10 (or more) days. That is a different question - but it assumes, by definition, that one does NOT get on a plane if they have reason to believe they are contagious.
