the customer service is really a disgrace for a premium carrier like SIA. It is unbelievable that they are not able to increase staffing of their customer service in the last 4 months given that issue has been since the first vtl flight was announced. if you are in singapore maybe u can go to ion or the airport and do the cancellation in person. otherwise if u know the numbers to press on the phone you could try to choose a non-english language like bahasa.. likelihood agent can speak english is quite high and i heard response seems to be faster
