I ended up paying $45 for a pork sandwich and 1/2 smoked chicken, They were a couple of guys from Memphis and seemed to be doing a brisk trade. We ate half at lunch and put the rest in the fridge for dinner. I did grocery shopping and walked to my garden to water. Mrs BV had a yoga class at 1. By 3, she had an upset stomach. I’ll finish the chicken tonight. The question is: do I try Mrs BV’s pork sandwich?
Wow, they saw you coming. No cereal bogos here.

Had a takeout BBQ dinner for 4 in Vegas at Jessie Rae’s. $120 normal price, $62 Groupon price. Had pulled pork, boneless bbq chicken, and spicy sausages. We fed 5 adults and 1 kid, and still had a ton of bbq left over. Included soft drinks and 4 sides.

I’ve had a few very nice takeout BBQ meals this year at normal restaurants. $21 for a full rack of baby back pork ribs, plus 1 side in Chandler. $29.95 full price ($15 Groupon) at Honey Bear’s in Phoenix for a full rack plus 2 sides, and $23.99 for a full rack, also in Phoenix.
