A friend brought me there, but, if I recall, it was about 2 miles from Orchard Rd within a roofed complex with plenty of Hawker stands of many different varieties. I know, those instructions aren't great, but it's the best I can do right now. I think the stand was very famous, and it was incredibly good! It was perfect with the right amount of fat with many there just for the char siu.
Lol, no worries. Unfortunately you just described about every hawker center in Singapore. It's all good. I'd just like to promote some of the lesser known places. If you say "Roast Paradise" or "Fatty Cheong" to the average Singaporean, they know it. But if you find a real gem that isn't one of those, you need to promote it to get people to visit.
