I am very happy with my lifetime diamond status. Didn't see any difference when I was still traveling frequently but now that I am in a different roll in the company I work for I hardly ever need hotels anymore, Though still fly a lot but 1 day round trips between the islands. When I do need to stay overnight or if my wife and I take a little vacation still having the diamond status is very nice.
