I spoke with a woman at Hawaii safe travels last night. She said that for my 8yr old unvaccinated daughter an antigen test taken 1 day before would suffice. So assuming 1 day is 24 hours before departure time, what happens if my flight is delayed by a few hours and the her test is out of the 24hr period by an hour or so?
