Zurich Sixt false claim of damage
First and last time I am renting from Sixt. They are claiming I scratched a bumper and a rim which is not possible given that I drove very carefully and always parked in the hotel garage. I would have noticed a scratch that went down to the primer as they claim. The car has sensors and park assist, so I would have noticed any bumps I may have caused.
How does a company continue unethical and fraudulent practices across several locations? Are they desperate for revenue because of COVID 19? It is eye opening to see the number of similar situations reported by members of this forum, on Google Reviews, and TripAdvisor. For anyone considering renting from Sixt, I highly recommend you pay more to go with another rental car company.
I have rented cars from several car rental companies in various states and countries. Never have I experienced something like this.
I should be covered by my CC company, but it is ridiculous I have to fill out paper work and file a claim for damage that they are making up.
