Each airline has its own characteristics. Based on these characteristics, consumers make choices on their travel. WN may seem like a traveler-friendly airline. But as a fact, in some aspects, WN can be the worst as they come.

my last Southwest flight was some 15 years ago. It is precisely because of what the OP describes that I no longer set foot on a Southwest flight.
