I myself have wondered why FT feels like a toxic place. Is it the lack of empathy? Is it the inherent hierarchy culture because this is an “elite status” forum? I’m sure somebody is going to call me an idiot and point me to a thread where this has been discussed in detail. Anyway, back to the subject at hand…

WN has had histories of inconsistencies in enforcing their policies, but it sounds like a defensive move on the WN agent’s part. In this era of viral videos, I can see why they would want to avoid being labeled as “body shaming” or something like that.

As someone who doesn’t like feeling the sweaty legs and arms of a complete stranger against my body, I feel your pain.
