I stayed there 10 days ago and had no issue with the breakfast, which was free to all guests, AFAIK. Did the hotel just change their policy on this?

I like this boutique hotel. However, their rooms are small, and the category nomenclature is misleading and inflated. Our "open suite" is just a bigger room, hardly even a junior suite really. However, the service is good, and the location is convenient: it is not right in the centre but is within walking distance to most tourist sites. We didn't have to take taxis or public transportation (but we are avid and fast walkers).
