The point of my post was that all TSA locks are padlocks, and they don't really fit very well on a hard-sided suitcase (unless I want to add hardware and/or drill holes in my suitcase). For us old-timers who insist on using the old fashioned suitcase, there are no alternative means to leave the suitcase unlocked.
I see that one of the locks on your referenced site is on a strap, but that is way too easy to cut and throw away for me to even think about using it.
