A Qantas plane has made a safe emergency landing without its brakes at Mt Isa in north-west Queensland.
One of the passengers says the pilot told them the plane's braking system had failed and that he planned to circle the airport to enable him to dump fuel before attempting to land.
Hmm, me thinks the pax got that wrong. 737's don't have fuel dump capability. Maybe the pilot said "circle while we burn off some excess fuel". I am sure the capitain knew the 737 can't dump fuel.
