I had the set degustation menu. This was the foie gras course; I don't remember which is which, I'll have to look up my old Facebook post.
Found it: "
from left to right, traditional with chamomile jelly and apricot caviar; with mangalica ham, paprika and strawberry; with truffle, plum and dark chocolate; and lastly bruleed. I liked the traditional the best, unfortunately, at my waiter's advice, I ate it first."

One of Next restaurant's early iterations was "childhood" and one dessert course was doughnuts with foie gras frosting served on a mixer beater so you could lick it off.
(I've also had Au Cheval's foie gras. We went to Liverpool House on Friday and I had to remind my husband that I do not eat cheval, lapin or any other animal that I've had as a pet.)
