My guess is that the automated MLife process sends Hyatt the check-in date, check-out date, and the eligible rate total. Hyatt then averages that total across the stay to arrive at an average daily rate. If that ADR = 0, no nightly credit.
I’d agree with that which is why when it has to be posted manually you don’t get all the EQN you would have otherwise. But it’s definitely not a policy to give full EQN credit for comped MGM nights.
