YES! I stayed this hotel’s 1st anniversary date. From the opening date, I have already done 30 stays in this hotel.

Booked Premium King Room, Received Executive Room Type B.

How are the rooms?

Executive Room Type B:

36sqm. Not so spacious to recent trend of new open luxury hotels. However very functional.
Deep sunken tub, 50 inch SONY LCD 4K TV with streaming service apps like Amazon Prime or NETFLIX, Vifa Reykjavík audio, Nespresso, and In-room tablet system are installed.

How is the exec. lounge?
As you know, Kimpton doesn’t have executive lounge however, provide “Social Hour” offering small selections of both alcoholic and soft beverages with small canapé plate. Basically Social Hour is holding at The Jones Cafe & Bar in the lobby floor. RA/Inner Circle members receive a invitation of the VIP Social Hour at the Penthouse Secret Bar “The 86”.

Penthouse Secret Bar The 86 is only allowed to access for RA/Inner Circle members and hotel recognized VIP guests. This bar products offering does not free of charge except VIP Social Hour. Standard operating time is from 9PM to 2AM.

How was the mini-bar?
You can enjoy up to 2500JPY item by RAID THE BAR. Contents are demi bottle of Champagne, two different Craft Beers, Japanese SUNTORY Beer, Red Bull, Japanese Craft Gin, Fever Tree Tonic, Fever Tree Ginger Ale, Coke, Coke Zero, Japanese Premium Sake, Yuzu citrus drink, Plum drink, Chivas Regal, Japanese Local Whisky, Absolute Vodka, Japanese Premium Mineral Waters (both still and sparking), and plenty of snacks.

What was your welcome gift?
Bottle of Champagne and my favorite beer accompanying with crunches.
