Very much true. If you opt for the S-La and have a choice, choose a room or suite that faces west if you can. The east side faces University Ave, which is quite a busy street 24x7 and you will get a good deal of traffic noise. Maybe not a problem if you live in NYC and are used to these things, maybe more so if you like it quiet to sleep.
