Regarding the OP the only thing i agree with is ordering food etc in room should be via a tablet or app in room to increase accuracy. Otherwise, no i don't want more technology for the sake of more tech. Everyone thinks everything gets better with more technology and it's obnoxious. I firmly believe some businesses and industries should remain human centric in their staffing and stay that way. Hotels are one of them. Apps and such don't necessarily make it easier or better in my experience to do things like request stuff, add pets etc etc. Technology certainly has a place and things like a better functioning website and app for paying, booking etc would be great and there are definitely increased functions that could be added but there is a limit
