Ultimately -- some people love human interaction. I enjoy talking with front desk staff, bartenders, etc. I just like hearing people's stories and trying to brighten their day a bit. Full transparency manu08, I loathe making food purchases strictly on an app. The customization options aren't always the same as what you can do if you just call/visit a restaurant instead. I don't think the difference in speed is that significant, but that's not scientific on my part. Just browsing my memories.

On the other hand -- some want to be left alone at all costs. There's a large amount of people that just want to walk straight into the hotel, go to their room, and block out the world. The technology is there. Some leverage it more than others.
