The agent who handled it over the phone cancelled the FRA-YUL upgrade. That segment was weeks away from anything that had a schedule change.

This was an anomaly (unless you believe the agent) and should never happen. What I still don't understand is why no one was willing to rectify it, and it scared me away from the rest of my Latitude fares.
