There are at least 2 luxury Marriott properties in North America that confirmed they look at guest profiles prior to arrival. To be fair, I did not ask specifically in the context of upgrades (though I did receive upgrades prior to arrival in the app for both hotels). So that in-and-of-itself suggests that you cannot broadly apply your personal experience working as an FDA to every other hotel lol. I don't even think that is the biggest factor contributing to my suite upgrade rate but dismissing it as "lol nonsense" is hardly convincing lol.
Except that you're dishonestly misrepresenting my position. I certainly made no comment on whether luxury properties examine guest profiles and to suggest that I did is just laughable.
