wouldnt rolling delays but just about worse for everyone? gate agents, flight staff, passengers etc...this way instead of crowding around a gate for hours on end, everyone can find a lounge, quiet gate area, heck ever a hotel room if its several hours during an overnight flight
and the annoying part of AA's rolling delays are the 85 smart phones all going off at once with their AA text notifications indicating another 30 minutes.
