I'm wondering what the minimum spend would be to 1 million miles. Maybe an Eastern Canada-Europe flight pass? Just go as far east as you can in Europe.

As per cow, FPs are not necessarily the cheapest way to get MM.
For a regular FP, you'd have to purchase and actually use up each credit. This is time and money.
For a UFP, it's at best zero time but money.
For carefully planned a la carte bookings, this is time (for researching/booking/jumping onto sales/etc., and the actual flying) and less money if planned out.
