It could be if you want to use it for travel purposes (it’s an EU pass as well) and places like trains may check that (but probably won’t care) How wrong is the date? I guess you could always carry your original Canadian receipt as backup to show them it’s you in case anyone questions it. You may want to have it corrected for piece of mind.
