The barcode is then generated and is valid for one hour.
CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens are also options, but Walmart is (AFAIK) the only one that allows you to load from a debit card. The others are cash-only.
Thank you for this
Unfortunately, with the Go Bank app, pushing the deposit icon brings you to a screen which gives you the choices of making a bank transfer, depositing cash or a check and direct deposit.
Pressing "Deposit cash" brings up a screen which simply says "Take your Go Bank debit card to any participating retail store. Swipe your card and hand over the cash and it will be deposited into your account automatically"
There is nothing else to press and no further action can be taken on this screen.
I have yet to find any way to generate a bar cade with the Go Bank app.
BTW, it does appear that this app and card are obsolete and that there is no longer any way to sign up for this type of account. The new "Go 2 Bank" account looks better than my current one but I wonder if one can still deposit into the account using debit cards. I would like to hear from anyone on their experiences with the new Go. TIA
