Ambassador level is barely a shadow of what it was designed to be for members. Your emails and calls will go to a customer service group rather than an individual. Your24 will actually work 1 out of 18 attempts, SNAs will never clear and you'll be given the room type you booked, 70% of the time.
I have been a platinum member for 21 years (earned EVERY year), was a platinum premier and now currently an ambassador (likely gone for next year) and I'm a lifetime titanium member. I am looking into giving Hyatt an honest effort (only because I really have never tried another hotel's member program before).
I still really enjoy Marriott and I have over 1.3mil points in my account. Basically, if you have titanium, don't expect anything from Marriott from a loyalty standpoint above and beyond that level.
